Huge The Ragged Priest Haul and review!!

Updated: May 24, 2020

Since we are all in lockdown, I have been guilty of doing a lot of online shopping, as I'm sure a lot of you have been doing!! I have found lots and lots of new fave online brands as well as shopping from the classics.

One of the shops I have been loving recently is The Ragged Priest. The quality is just fantastic which makes spending a little bit more worth it. I have bought many items over the last few weeks that can be styled differently to accommodate all the seasons, they are very transferrable. As well as this, they can be worn down in a casual look or dressed up for a night out. The store has a very edgy and grunge feel to it and the clothes are excellent quality, as well as this, they are not too expensive for how brilliant they are! I would recommend The Ragged Priest to any shape or size as the clothing really fits different body types well.

The first item I picked up is the Juicy skirt (£42.00). This was on sale when I bought it which is a bonus. This skirt is absolutely beautiful. The material is a gorgeous soft velvet and the skirt hangs so brilliantly. It is slightly longer than other skirts so you don't feel like you have to pull it down when walking. The sizing is great, also, as it comes in at the waist! Would 100% recommend.

The next item I got is the Waste skirt (£40.00). This one is very similar to the juicy skirt as it has the same silhouette, but the material is a rougher thick crepe material so doesn’t move as easily, however, the skirt is still beautiful. The colour is very vibrant so can be brilliant for summer with a tan!! Both of the skirts have a big chunky zip which is a great add on!!

The Infringement jean is one of my faves that I picked up (£55.00). The denim is so soft and the jean is very oversized for a casual look but comes in a the waist so a belt is not essential which is a plus!! This kind of reworked denim is a massive trend at the moment and this jean is great to have in your closet. I find myself reaching for them a lot.

I then decided to get a couple of cheaper basics. I picked up the Wasted Tee (£28.00). I love this green tie dye!! As tie dye is very 'in' at the moment this is a great top to have in your closet. The material of this one is a more shiny, stretchy T shirt material. It almost feels waterproof which is brilliant as it is a thinner material, perfect for summer!! Another basic that I picked up is the Yawn tee (£22.00). As this top is so vibrant with the yellow it can go with most things as you can have clashing colours. This top is the perfect cropped size and is very comfy.

Another fave is the Hot Rod Jean (£55.00). These are so different from anything I have seen online and that's why I love them!! I think these are well worth the money, the denim is very thick and good quality and they are very colourful. I was very impressed with these!!

The next item I chose is the Turbo Knit (£40.00). Now this one is a soft kind of see through loose knit jumper with long loose sleeves. I love the contrast of the yellow and purple, I never would have thought to put those colours together but the clashing really works. I LOVE THIS.

The next item was paired with the Turbo Knit on the website and I absolutely love this outfit. It is the Rush skirt (£40.00). The colours match the knit (yellow and purple) and the contrast with the loose knit and the tighter skirt is great! This skirt has two big zips up the side so it goes on like a wrap around kilt which is very interesting and the zips showing looks great and you can unzip them a bit for a different look!!

Next is the Blush Pant (£55.00). I do really like the colour and the cord feel to them. However, they are very very high waisted for someone with shorter legs. But they are still very wearable. If you want a more fitted look I would recommend sizing down as they are bigger than the other style of trouser on the website.

My No.1 fave from the haul is the Break Pant (£55.00). The style of these is absolutely wonderful. The sizing was my fave as well as as they really hug your figure. The colours are so good for either summer or winter and you can dress them up or down which is always a plus!!

The next item is the Satellite Jean (£60.00). I wasn't as impressed with these as the other items I picked up which is a shame as I was really looking forward to them. They are much bigger than any of the other jeans so they look just a little bit too oversized which is a real shame!! I think I could dress them up with heels which may work but they are just a bit too big on me. Definitely down size in these!!

In contrast the next item, the Fame Jean (£55.00) is a little bit too small. These are very tight and as the denim is a strong denim they don't stretch so definitely size up on this one!!

In conclusion I was so impressed with probably 90% of my purchases and the delivery time was very quick and I haven't had any issues with them online. I would recommend this online store to anyone!! A lot of these prices may be out of date as many of them have gone on sale recently so you may get a steal!!
